Yes, plenty. There's at least 4-5 inches of clearance in most places, but looks like that's designed for a connection with the male end on the panel. The female side of the connection should be on the panel side with the built-in shutoff.
There is, the solenoid on the left side connects to the bottom of the tank and vents out just below the hitch. The bottom power switch is a three position switch wired such that holding it in the spring loaded down position drains the tank.
Yup...good link, thanks. There are small rubber mounts on the feet that came with the compressor (you can just barely see them in the picture) but it needs more.
That's a great point, definitely not ideal (I've caught them on a few things and almost impaled a watermelon once).
The smugglers bay would be a great option but a pain to get to when the bed is packed. Eventually I plan to recess the connections and switches behind the sidewall with a small...
Found an air compressor and tank that fit in the space underneath the smugglers bay. Wasn’t the cheapest option, but works pretty well. Power is taken from the roof 48V using a 48v-24v DC-DC converter mounted inside the side wall.
Compressor: 200psi/24v VIAIR 330C-HG
Tank: 2.5gal VIAIR
I tap the seat adjustment lever sometimes to bring up the mirror adjust option on the touch screen a little quicker than using the menus. Still not ideal.
In reverse, the right scroll wheel should angle the back wheels when held left/right and scroll both mirrors together with up and down...
I went with a queen size which was 79x59 (2" thick). This wasn't the exact floor dimensions, but it was close enough I didn't see a need to trim the pad. I think maybe the tent was an inch or so narrower and an inch longer? Guessing...surely someone is camping in their tent right now and can...
It's not the dividers, it's the rails. There's some play in the bolts that hold the rails on, so loosening the 7 bolts on each side, then pushing up the rails and re-tightening the bolts aligns the rails perfectly for the dividers.
People have been modifying the dividers to fit, but seems to me...
Same as when it’s folded. The brackets all sit at ~16” above the floor. Subtract 1/2” for the raised ridges in the floor and about 3/8” for the how the tent floor sits in the bracket gives just over 15” of true clearance. I have a Dometic cooler (CFX3) that is 16” tall. It bumps up the tent...
Other than opening up all 4 air ports and buttoning the front corners to help tuck in the sides, I try to pick up the side/end cover material as the tent is being folded. The key is getting the side cover past the corners, then use the center buckle to compress the tent and it zips up easy.
The...
Low 6000ish vin here but yeah, probably a lot of early builds have this type of character. I think we need a thread with all of the ‘custom’ and ‘hand crafted’ evidence for our early builds. You’ll never see this character once Optimus takes over. I also found hand cut holes in the giga casting...
Nope. I find the app is much better than in the past for tracking total charging kWh and $$ over time, but nothing that exports trip info.
I found out about and started using TeslaMate a couple weeks ago. It’s a veritable treasure-trove of data and graphs to include to trip-by-trip info. It...
Got about 3000 Wh/mi over an 8 mile out and back in soft sand. What are other people seeing?
It was pretty soft sand with speeds around 10-20mph and tire pressure around 35psi.
Since there's multiple threads on divider issues, figured I'd link to my solution here - this solved the problem for me without a service center visit and without any cutting/modification to the components...
Found a workaround (or maybe the reason) the divider doesn't fit. Had two thoughts - either the bed was two high or the rails were too low. Ended up being the rails for me.
Bed too high: checked this first. All the bolts were seated properly. It did seem possible for them to be caught up on a...
Yup. Are the alarms on the X from the cabin camera or radar? I thought I read in the manual if there’s an obstruction like wearing sunglasses, the alarms resort to the older methods of monitoring like pressure on the steering wheel).
7 ECUs show updated (down from 21 in the .3 update). This is the second in a row that updated the wiper motor ECU.
The HVBATT update is interesting - maybe it brings the increased supercharger speeds.
