  1. 123 kWh battery pack on Cybertruck (reported)

I spoke with a Tesla engineer last week....he did say the tri motor is using the 2nd Gen higher capacity 4680 cells. How much more ? Not sure
  2. Bizarre... no news on status of the waiting list??

Everyone just has a reservation...no such thing as first in line because no one knows how many ppl are in front of them. The system is just used to track interest. They will sell to whoever is logistically easiest is my guess.
  3. 1 week....and still clueless on price

I hope they would announce a jeep wrangler type vehicle alternative. Just bare bones 4 motors...4 seats...good sound system and 400 miles of range on 35" tires of rock crawling deliciousness. Lol
  4. 1 week....and still clueless on price

I dunno, Tesla has never really gave us more or what we expect info wise. I don't expect much from the delivery event, might be like the model y delivery at Austin. Just a bunch of cars driving across a stage and that's it. The engineer I spoke with on Tuesday seemed like they were pushing for...
  5. 1 week....and still clueless on price

Knowing Elon he prob won't even mention pricing yet because it will still take them a few months to really get the production to a point where they can deliver enough of them. More efficient for them to make large batches then deliver them vs making 10 and sending them out as they get made. We...
  6. .

Each unit is driven around the Austin site and has to go thru the suspension testing area which is on the other side of the factory. Pretty sure there are puddles and whatnot all over the place. Pretty sure no one would deny a delivery for some dirt on the undercarriage.
  7. .

These are brand new, Austin is just a giant construction site, trucks won't be sparkling clean as with a legacy automaker. I do believe the showroom models are final final units to be sold. Gaps and whatnot look great, as with any new truck off the line.. they should all have the same build quality.
  8. Miami Tesla store now has a Cybertruck & Tesla Bot (Location: 4039 NE 1st Ave, Miami)

Tbh I think when most people who has a reservation and never owned a mid sized truck b4, will be probably shocked on the side of the truck. Its 3 ft longer than my model y...parking will be a bitch in city streets.
  9. Cybertruck Sighting!! 11/21 Kettleman City, CA Supercharger

Semi is a special use case where the carbon sleeve would create the ultra high tq needed to move 82,000 lb trailers prob. Using traditional motors that are not wrapped on CT could be a cost cutting measure. But we will hopefully know in 8 days.
  10. So, Outside Mirrors Removable or not?

I would imagine they will make a mirror delete kit with a stainless steel plate that covers the area where the mirror was attached to the door. Hopefully with a seal for weatherproofing. $30 dollar kit I hope
  11. Cybertruck Sighting!! 11/21 Kettleman City, CA Supercharger

I think the people who would agree with you don't grasp the concept on how expensive it is to bring a new vehicle like this market. They prob spent hundreds of millions on R&D and manufacturing equipment. All you guys see is a price difference and less specs on a piece of paper and call...
  12. Cybertruck Sighting!! 11/21 Kettleman City, CA Supercharger

I asked specifically if they were carbon wrapped rotors like the plaid, he said no they are completely one off units specific to CT for high tq and new gearing. ?‍♂️ I believe the carbon wrapping was because they needed the car to go really fast, over 190+ mph. Not needed in the CT, they are...
  13. Cybertruck Sighting!! 11/21 Kettleman City, CA Supercharger

Well my Impression is I'm not sure if there will be a "plaid version". " beast mode " might just be a software lock for the fastest CT like Ludacris mode. I've said it all along regarding pricing, I expect it to be in the model s pricing because of all the bells and whistles. $90k seems logical...
  14. Cybertruck Sighting!! 11/21 Kettleman City, CA Supercharger

Definitely seen this prototype b4 on here. Ok tidbits...the engineer did not give anything specific and said " I cannot say " to many of my prying questions lol. But what I did get: - This unit is a tri motor - They are testing the newer 4680 higher density cells in this vehicle. - tri motor...

  17. Cybertruck dimensions measured in real life -- at Santana Row Tesla store

My guess for the official would be 18 ft 9 inches, which is 225 inches total. Let's see!
