Mystery solved, now how much will Tesla charge me to fix it?

The ventilated seats in the CT are awful. People who like them have never sat in a M3 MY or in a hot climate. I REALLY hope Tesla does a recall/update for these because calling them ventilated seats is technically true but practically not.

Very interested to see what happens after 10 days, can't see them raising the price 10k The % of people that would then waitFOREVER to buy one would be very high "waiting for the 60k version to come out again"

I thought of that, kind of like the "Foundation being buffed off" saga Buuuuuut upgrading the bed and removing the air suspension from already produced trucks would be nuts :)

Well he said the price wouldn't be the same for 10 days, will it go down further after 10 days? Unlikely but......

So I don't regret buying my CT earlier as I thought this price drop would take longer or never come, but yea at this pricepoint be crazy to wait, especially with the mystery "For the next 10 days" thing floating around. Hopefully price doesn't DROP after10 days :)

The design and brand stigma is often a way of coping for people that couldn't afford it. [looks at bank account "thing is ugly i didn't want it anyway"] But I think that will change as 60k is VERY affordable for what you get vs other trucks at 60k The question is, what happens after 10...

I think there are a lot of people that the difference between an $80k truck and a $60k truck is a BIG difference.

If you think the ventilated seats work well try a new M3 or MY, or take a trip out here to FL in the summer:) Be harder to find my truck in the parking lot among the other CTs, but repairs, service, and aftermarket mods won't go away so that is a big plus.

New $60k version should help bump numbers, which is a very good thing.

REALLY hope this helps increase sales.

Composite bed aka a real truck bed that won't get straw all over the battery, wish I could trade in for that.

6’ x 4’ composite bed This could be a HUGE upgrade, no slats for dirt to fall down in and sit on top of the battery, hay, twigs, sawdust, etc.

Heated front seats only (no ventilation) I mean lets be fair, the CT and CT don't have ventilated seats either.

Agree with your assessment long term, but think the timeline will be closer to 15-20+ years before that happens given Tesla's history and Elon's previous timeline estimates.
