Def not a problem with GPS data. Back when it used GPS data the speed limits were very accurate.
The "speed limit" shown on my screen is very often wrong, and it has been that way with our Model 3 before I got my CT. On some state routes the vehicles will read "Route 49" or "Route 62" as...
Mine is still white. However, the loaner from the Springfield, MA serivce center that I just drove for 24 hours looked kind of aqua blue when opened. Odd but likely meaningless, I imagine.
My 3W floor mats are almost a year old now and still look about brand new. Still lay flat and fit perfect. I think they look more OEM than the WT ones that Tesla offers. I'm definitely happy I bought them.
Sorry for the delay. Here is mine. Like some of these others, H_D and I have a GVWR of 8834# and 285/65R20s. So, the specs are correct. Sounds like the H was misassigned?
This is interesting. As I have a 11/24 build AWD with core wheels/ All Seasons, but my VIN has an H, not a G. Wonder if the wheels/tires got swapped somewhere along the way. Did I win or lose with this anomaly?
I seem to only get phantom wipes on a sunny day when traveling under a tree canopy. When there is mottled sunlight coming thru a crisscross of branches and leaves, it gives your eyes almost a strobe light effect, and it seems to make my CT blink it's wiper.
I live in Central Mass, which is a much more purple section of the state than @koolio 's neck of the woods. I haven't gotten a middle finger in about two months. (It's always old Hondas and Subarus, or young guys in beater pickups, btw). I think I am seeing more waves/ thumbs up than I used...
Love me some Midnight. I feel like the entire Synthwave genre fits the feel of this truck. The neo-80s vibe perfectly fits the Blade Runner "1980s view of the future" look of the Cybertruck.
Mine only "sees" speed limit signs that are white with black lettering. And sometimes confuses "Route 62" signs for "Speed Limit 60 MPH". In my area, we have a lot of "local hazard" yellow with black signs for a reduced speed at sharp turns, highway offramps, etc. One mountain road...
Joe also does multiple drone flyover videos at Giga Texas every week. Out of the blue in the past week hundreds of new (mostly RWD) CyberTrucks started appearing in the outbound west side lot.
So, while they undoubtedly will use up the remaining dead stock, they are also obviously producing...
Never used it. I enjoy driving this thing too much. Fear of the unknown (such as will it try to stay at the chronically wrong "speed limit" it perceives?) supersedes any curiosity I might have.
Travelled the NY Thruway last week and I can also confirm the same thing at the rest stops in NY. Iroquois and Schuyler Applegreen EV chargers have the CCS>NACS frankenplug head that does not clear the CT fender flares. You would need to carve out a chunk of the flare to get this giant head...
I'm nine months in and while I've pulled shipping plastic off other areas, the front screen plastic is still on there with the QR code in the top right corner. I figure once that sheet finally gets ratty, I still get the joy of peeling it off, and then the screen is brand new again!
They did an update around March that greatly improved it. Maybe you've got it and did not realize? Press and hold the washer button. On the third pass, the anemic spray suddenly becomes much more robust until you let go. Haven't had a chance to try it on a windshield full of sticky road...
Did you make it out? A clickbait article from The Drive with a photo of your truck says there's currently a broken-down CT stuck on the Rubicon.
