I held it up over the camera lens while my wife had the rear camera pulled up on the screen. It obstructs the field of view very noticeably. Return forthcoming...

There is some hazing on the corners, it's mentioned on the product listing, but you're of course welcome to return if needed. The view in the app is much wider than on-screen, at least in ours, there's zero interference with the rear view 'mirror' view, and very little on the wide view (be sure to center it on the camera properly, and apply decent pressure to the adhesive, as that will activate it, and reduce it's depth, thus bringing the cover closer to the lens). FSD is fine. The weather is hideous here today and the truck is clean, so I'm not rolling it out, but this is the view of the garage door:

Well that’s better than I was led to believe. If that’s the visual spread then I will keep mine. I see edge of the bumper which I use to gauge distance from objects. I was concerned with visual access to that area.

yeah. To be clear, all feedback is good feedback, so we'll continue to iterate the product as best we can within the overall product constraints. From a performance and real-life perspective, I think you'll be happy at how it performs in the rain/snow/dirt.

I ordered, but this before and after shot is giving me second thoughts. @AO-Pete care to comment? It looks significantly worse here than in your earlier post.

I rely on a clear view of the edges and end of the bumper to park in my garage, and it appears the cover is obscuring it based on this post. Is this indicative of normal installation results?

I installed mine last week and having the same issue as everyone else with the corners being blocked. It does work good in the rain but I didn’t know that it would block some field of view.

same. Installed mine that arrived today, it is pretty much the same as the pic above. So...guess we have to ask, is it better to see some, or none when it gets covered with mud..... the size of the window needs to be increased is all

I would like a refund, this product sounds good on paper however it blocks off some of the view, the red tape was very difficult to get off, and when the sun hits the rear camera it creates a reflection. I would stop selling this as it can cause an accident. Let me know how to go about getting this resolved

Yeah, this isn't causing an accident lol. I'm curious if the camera magnification changed since this was developed? I know the Christmas update brought the ability to zoom the camera but otherwise, this would have easy been caught with the initial samples. I haven't received mine yet so I don't know if/how much it will bug me. I've always had good experiences with Abstract Ocean so I'm sure they will refund those who decide they don't like it

It does obscure the edge of the bumper but we drove in some rain yesterday and it was 100% worth it. Basically zero water on the camera while driving and backing in to parking spots, world of difference compared to the stock camera. Think with a little fine tuning it could be made to not obscure anything but even if it stays the same I will continue to use this product.

Ordered, Keeping rear zoom at around 1.2x lately so thinking the corners are a non-issue. fingers crossed.
