These conversations are going in circles, we have been through all of this. The arguments don't really make that much sense, at least not from an engineering perspective. Too many dumb arguments for 4 motors have been responded to with intelligent arguments to re-hash that here.
The bottom line is, will they ever put a 4 motor in it? Who knows, but I wouldn't want it as I have
confirmation from a Tesla employee that I know personally who said it's a tri-motor.
They can get 1500hp out of it and sub-3-sec 0-60 and still make it efficient enough to get 500 miles range with a single legacy motor up front. The two rear motors are carbon-wrapped units.
Let's put this to rest. Please.
