yeah. I think if you had a softish surround like a big gasket to seal the space between the panel and the glass roof you could keep it from being noisy or more importantly aerodynamically impactful.

As to the question about the mount points on Non-FS vs FS.
It has been confirmed that all 8 of the mounting points are there by people on here. The Non-FS 'sail' portion on either side of the roof window do not have the holes in them that open to show these mounts. A FS series sail piece can be ordered through the service center was the determination/solution in another thread.

I will try to remember to confirm what I can of this at the Michigan light show later this month. I'm sure there will be standard CTs there as well.

This is a convenience item. Not everything in life has a payback. Some make life easier. So cost for these products is usually relevant for how much inconvenience it reduces rather than payback. In this case it charges a portable battery so one doesn't have to use the battery from the truck for other uses. Is it for everyone? Nope, but it beats setting up a panel array and putting a panel array away. I am sure Cybertruck Co is working on one for the camper top.

Tesla should put a solar panel where the roof glass is. I don't need to look out the roof, just more heat coming in. A panel that size could produce 500 watts.

It unfortunately wouldn't be efficient/powerful enough to charge the cybertruck. If they were to use it to negate the phantom drains on the system that would be cool though!

Looks great! I really like that you can use it while driving. When parked, it could pair with the 400w solar blanket I have that fits over the windshield, glass roof, or tonneau cover locations. At the extreme end, could be possible to pair 3x400w solar blankets + 200w hood solar to get 1.4 kWh solar across the entire length of the truck.
