So you are upset that you get 1 year free access to a service that is drastically underpriced at $99 a month? If you actually read your purchase agreement, they include language like "future features/availability may change".
Yes, it’s b.s.
Every Tesla except for CT comes with basic autopilot. The cheapest Kia you can go buy today comes with active lane centering, which is the same as autosteer. It’s shady.

I’m also happy for them. Likely good for Tesla too.
It’s the inconsistency and volatility of deal making that frustrates me about Tesla. It’s impossible to predict when you’re getting a good deal because of the impulsive feeling sales tactics and business practices.
This is misguided in the extreme. because all automakers do this, the first cars of any model year are generally sold around MSRP, and any left overs are cleared out, often with generous incentives. New car buyers know that's how it works. If they want the newest car on the block, they pay the hefty markup, if they want to save money, they wait to buy the left overs at a discount.

On top of that, legacy auto delarships often sell a car to one buyer at a certain price and, on the very same day, sell an identicql car to a different buyer for $4,000 more! Happens all the time. Tesla just has a lot more pricing transparency. So, make note and try not to take it personally. Reserve that for traditional dealerships.

Dude you literally just said that Tesla isn’t any different than traditional dealerships with respect to leftovers and then said don’t measure them against traditional dealerships. There is now zero transparency on CT pricing. Everyone is getting a different private deal and the public deals/offers are shifting daily. Tesla is also intentionally hiding inventory.

Production is declining. Sales are cratering. Inventory is climbing. What a bandaid on a gaping hole in customer goodwill. Good luck Tesla. FSD for one year. Laughing all day.

Tesla Cybertruck 1-Year Free FSD Trial !! -- did you receive the offer? 1746653839440-j1

Suggest a tourniquet, or a different approach.

I suspect Autopilot/Autosteer will go away completely on all "new" Tesla vehicles at some point in the near future. Autosteer is kind of pointless w/ FSD.

....and can y'all just enjoy your trucks and quit worrying about who got what deal?

I think that will hurt sales even more. Almost all cars now come with lane keeping. Putting it behind an $8k pay wall that isnt allowed in Europe or the UK for the foreseeable future seems like a dumb move when demand is at an all time low.

You can get a new MY in 1 week most places in the world. Q2 numbers from registration, overall, look weaker than Q1. Tesla is hurting. They weren't profitable last Q from vehicle sales alone.

Good news for non-FS owners.

Tesla, anything like this coming up for your most loyal early adopter FS customer base?
We are used up as far as Tesla goes. We get no loyality bounus for early adaoptrers.

We were supposed to have FSD (NOT Supervised) by June 2025, hopefully this speeds things along.
LOL. WE?
No, Tesla is having a LIMITED release for TESLA only and in geofenced areas. WIDE release to the public and not geofenced is still years away.

Autopilot is far more than lane centering. It makes total sense from a software development cycle that Tesla will do away with autopilot considering how close they are to mass producing a robo-taxi fleet.

They can eventually collapse the autopilot team into FSD and prevent them from spending time/effort/money on a early branch of autonomy.

My free 30 days just expired last week so this was an awesome surprise!!
Same situation ... I opted not to pay $8k for FSD at time of initial purchase and was pleased to receive this offer!!

Exactly. We are repeatedly being f$&ked.
I don’t mean to sound bitter. I’m happy everyone is going to get to try FSD because it’s truly amazing.
I’m just still salty about them offering free supercharging months after I bought my truck and still not providing support for PowerShare with my powerwall 3 system.
I’ve spent more money with Tesla than most and feel like I’m always at the back of the line.
But isn't the reason this isn't available for FS because FS already has FSD?

Zero transparency on pricing? It’s on the website at any given time, clear as day.

Private deals? LOL! Elon himself pays MSRP for his personal cars. There’s no family and friends discount, no under the table deals. The price is the price. Prove me wrong, I invite you to try.

Public deals/offers are shifting daily? Hey you got one right! They sure are. If there’s a deal you want to take, take it. If you don’t like the current offer, feel free to wait. You might get a sweet deal or you might regret it.

Yes. That is correct. Yet another incentive being given to everyone BUT those people who already paid a premium for a FS.
