That offset seems pretty maxed out from the factory. Looks like just a slightly more neutral wheel and you could go quite a bit wider than 285mm. Good info here

I don’t think so. That front tire sweep is really tight vs the front of the fender. Maybe if you only drove on the medium height setting.
this truck is going to be really sensitive to altering the scrub radius when changing offset because of the additional rear steering and based on what franz was saying about the intricate aero work, could potentially really screw up aero efficiency.

the proper solution here especially for those that want to off road on bigger tires is going to be swapping the control arms for some high quality units and introducing portals.
doing that and going to say a 38” tire vs the ~ 33.5 inch factory units should be kick ass off road but id expect no less than a 15% hit to range

you can’t tell your coworkers to shut the hell up for 15 minutes while you’re shooting a video?

Rear brakes are small for a heavy truck; I guess regenerative braking compensates.
I hope they're not relying on regenerative braking to compensate for smaller brakes—it would be far less effective when the battery is cold or anywhere near 100% charge.

Thankfully that black bar is the "overhead padded cut-off bar". No harm done.

Definitely a need for some bumpers and underbody protection...hopefully someone makes some aero neutral but beefier solutions...

In the video they point out a forward facing radar, does the CT have radar? I thought Tesla went vision only on their vehicles during COVID?
