I've spent many years driving trucks and vans with no review view mirrors.I guess I don't understand why some people want to see in the bed or fixate on the car behind them. I'm totally happy with the way it was delivered. I guess it has to do with whether or not you've been driving trucks and vans for many years that had no rear view and no camera and realize it's not necessary.
Visibility > No Visibility. Always.
Things that have happened while I have hauled and visibility would help.
- Failing tie downs
- Seeing how speed/wind is trashing around plants, slowing if needed
- Tarps beginning to rip in the wind
- Passengers in back during Halloween or hayrides
- Keeping tonneau cover open long enough to dry out the bed
- Watching a dog enjoying 55mph winds up their nose
- On this product you now have an additional angle to record theft or vandalism
- I remember someone on this board had a racoon break into the vault because the CT looks like a dumpster. It would have been fun to see that video.
