I ordered 12/21 and still no VIN. I ordered a dual motor with a delivery in San Antonio TX. It's so frustrating still not having a VIN. Reservation #RN11276

Damn I’m 12/28 San Antonio. No vin yet.

Reply to this when you get your VIN so I can spend a good 7 days planning my own VIN party.

I remember back in the good old days before I had a vin. The innocent look in my eyes as I checked the Tesla app, eagerly awaiting that magical string to fill in that empty space.

Then one day, it finally filled in, and my innocence was stripped away. Each day since then breeds a new horror to violate my once naive worldview.

oh innocent peers, enjoy the youthful bliss of anticipating a vin, and look toward windward who was once as tall and handsome as you.

just kidding, sort of. Hope you all get vins and more importantly your trucks soon.

At this point we are just numbers for quarterly financial updates anymore. The customer experience of Tesla has crumbled.

End of March is end of 1st qtr. Maybe there will be a big push in manufacturing and delivering the CT.

Hope so! Someone said no one will care about it yet for the quarterly report.

I don't agree with that statement. There's likely to be many more questions about the Cybertruck and how the rollout is going...

So far it is a bit slower than most expected and I would say they've had a few software and fit/finish glitches... And still no autopilot or FSD.

Of course, they will care, the more ramp up they can show on deliveries of their newest product, the better the stock price. and forecasts

Tesla warned several times at quarterly meetings that the ramp up could be very slow. That it could have many starts and stops and they just would not know on till it started. I think they give the best projections they can but none of this was unexpected if you listened.

I'm not sure why anyone thinks the famous end of quarter push will not apply to cybertruck. Even if you assume that they will not be rushing more out the door at the factory at a lower quality, this push doesn't just happen by magic. This is baked into all of their shipping and logistics. So why would that not be a factor in end of quarter deliveries for cybertruck? This is built into the DNA of Tesla.

And, again, it may not mean that they start cranking out lower quality trucks. But it may mean that we see 10 deliveries in a couple of days at a given showroom that would otherwise have 3 in the same period.
