It was confirmed in this video right at the beginning(first minute of this video) last night. This video shows Chuck Cook downloading it in his truck and showed the wiper fluid updated feature:

Nice.
He tests the new wiper spray logic at 4min 35secs.

It def sprays a lot more fluid…

I submitted a suggestion on X to the subject lead engineer that the windshield wiper should automatically engage the washer when the wiper turns on and it's not raining. If they can figure out how to do that it would be very helpful to save the wiper from being worn out and potentially damaging the windshield by constantly wiping a dry dirty windshield.

Weird. Saw an ‘update is available’ message for 2025.2.8 earlier today. Before I had a chance to connect to WiFi, it’s gone. Now that I’m on WiFi, still nothing. CT is still on 2024.45.32.15.

Same for me. I think they must have pulled the update.

I was wondering why I haven’t gotten this update.

At this point, we’ll get the improved windshield washer fluid logic in the Spring…and won’t be able to test it until next winter.

Ask and you shall receive! Some people just get a little impatient.
I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect a vehicle that is marketed as “built for any planet” can handle a little bit of dirt on the windshield the moment you drive it off the lot. It’s crazy to me it took them a year and a half to solve this with a simple software adjustment.

I've experienced a few windshield streaks during winter conditions with salt/chlorides on the road, but nothing too problematic. I was always amazed how some people blew it so far out of proportion (because I knew a fix would come if I was patient). Just part of being such an early adopter, I'm glad Tesla didn't wait until every last little niggle was fixed before releasing it!

Clearly your experience is not the same as the large group of users who reported things like this happening whenever the roads are slightly wet and dirty. Windshield visibility, especially when it impacts the cameras that handle safety systems, is critical and isn’t in the same bucket as “early adopter” bugs and quirks.

Talk to GM EV owners. Apparently the Silverado folks can't even get 2025 Silverado software loaded onto their 2024 models. You have to buy the new model year to get less bugs.

And that includes people willing to take it into a dealership. What is taking them so friggin long to get true OTA software updates (let alone dealership applied software patches)?

Tesla owners don't know how good they have it, unless they came from a GM EV (or one of the other legacy companies who can't get their EV shit together).
