3D printing has amazing capabilities but that doesn’t mean it’s the best answer to everything. I thought this forum was a place for give and take, sorry if I was wrong about that.
It would cost like a few dollars at most to print those if you had the designs. I don’t see why 3d printed ones wouldn’t work especially since it’s just cosmetic.

I decided I really didn't like the design of the original lid with the spherical opening. Instead of having a nice fence to keep stuff contained on top, it created a little ramp that would launch anything you had there when you accelerated. So I uploaded a new lid (CTTCLalt) that is more functional.

I can say for me I don't want them in red (or any of the other limited colors that they have) and I don't really want to pay for them since I'm fairly sure I won't like them. If there was a file, I would print them in silver and see how that looked if I didn't like it, I could just take them off and throw them away.
I ordered blue ones from a member here on this forum. He has an Etsy page. I really like them, as I feel the blue color adds a nice touch.

I’ve printed several pieces from files that folks have posted here and I’ve done them all in Blu and I agree with you 100% a nice cobalt blue looks awesome with the truck as is and if I was going to print some covers for those toe hooks and it wasn’t silver it would be blue. The only reason I’m not going that way is a little bizarre but again I have no problem with my own weirdness … the only color that I like to use in the LED bar in the cabin is red and I don’t wanna hold blue theme on the outside of the car and then red inside. So I’m leaving the caliper silver and I’m just embracing everything outside the car is either black or silver and a couple of blue molle hooks in the vault and the LED inside is red.

In Makerworld, a levitating CT print is posted
https://makerworld.com/models/919656

I ordered the kit from Bambulabs and in the middle of printing the base, but I was excited to share.

so the kit is about $60 and the print takes a while, but it is pretty cool.

That’s kind of cool but it would be cooler if it was the new Roadster ;)

Oh sick! Thanks for sharing this! I was going to design and print one myself but this saves a lot of that work.

If you do end up getting the kit and printing one, and find you have a hard time getting it to levitate, you’re not alone.
what I’ve found was there is an initial orientation that opens the door to levitation. Eventually, you will find the one that applies to your situation. For example, mine is “the power plug is at 1 o’clock, and the rear of the CT is at 9 o’clock. “ Once I found the initial orientation that works for me, it was much easier to get to it levitate. Mine has been floating for over three days so far! Good luck!

I went with a variation already out there but had fun playing around in tinkercad. I went space grey petg filament but like matte black also.
