Yeah. But that would make removal necessary to open the cyber tent. I’ve looked at them before. Better, but not ideal for my situation.
I like my s92 but for $2k I want an actual solution that keeps the factory rear view camera abilities. Even if it’s a relocation kit

Did you guys see the video of the guy who got saved by FSD avoiding a rear end collision?
https://www.cybertruckownersclub.com/forum/threads/close-call-thanks-fsd.47905/
That’s not possible no matter what anyone says with jerry-rigged aftermarket shit sold by the same type of people who bring you fake carbon fiber cup holders and personal fans. You know, the type of people who rely on “reviewers” that dm a stranger in china for an opportunity to enter a raffle maybe resulting in a handout.
Excuse me if I find it hard to believe rigorous safety standards are being applied to this type of equipment.
The s92 by Tesstudio helps me see and I love it as an accessory, but I also need optimus to see. That’s part of what makes our cars special and I’m not paying that much money just to damage that ability.
I’m sorry, but for $2k, they can come up with a reliable extension cable and a mount. Maybe a plug for the old hole and a calibration procedure.
Weak sauce.
I can figure out what to do with my license plate myself thank you very much.

The Cybertent goes all the way over the front two roof bar locations above the roof glass? Does it really need to?

I could help you relocate your truck’s rear view camera. It likely would require some fabrication.

No, but a cybertruck sized tire on top of a roof rack up there is also one of the most aerodynamically dumb things one can do and completely negates the purpose of keeping the tent in the vault.
Your bed cap is a MUCH better solution than that.

Also, the bed cap isn’t that much more expensive than both this thing and the mars roof mount for the tire combined.
especially if I sell the cybertent and buy a bed cap tent.

Does the camera have a connector somewhere that one can add an extension cable to or is it hardwired somewhere much closer to the computer or what?
Do you guys know?
Tesla is generally pretty good at making stuff pretty modular and replaceable so I imagine they make that camera pretty quick to take off and put back on. Something like the plugs on the fender cams probably? That would mean an extension harness shouldn’t be that hard to come up with.

💵 dollars to doughnuts 🍩 it is exactly the same connection type as the fender 📷 camera.

Man. I love donuts AND dollars.
Come on rig’d!. Go the extra mile and you’ll have a stellar product worth what you’re asking for it. You’re better than that cheap Chinese crap and you shouldn’t rely on it or worse, ask your customers to.

Wouldn't relocating the camera require a software recalibration that isn't going to happen?
