Anyone else notice on Tesla’s configuration page that a CB with core wheels (and all season tires) is marked at 320 mile range while an AWD with core wheels is at 325 miles? In comparison, with the Cyberwheels (and all terrain tires) it’s 301 miles vs. 315 miles. No idea how accurate the projections are, but it’s interesting to see how much the difference is ranges increase with the Cyberwheel setup. If only those core wheels and tires weren’t so damn ugly….

I would really like to know the differences between noise and vibration between the two tires. I know the beast is supposed to be noisier particularly up front with the permanent magnet motor location.

I saw this and immediately thought it was wrong. My AWD with core wheels at 100% charge is 340 mi. I thought I remembered that being what Tesla originally listed. Something must have changed with the current production trucks/Non FS.

I’ve owned an AWD with cyber wheels and AT tires for 15k miles. Tried an AWD with core and AS - and it was significantly quieter which isn’t too surprising I suppose.

At some point the stats changed. It was 340 games originally. I didn’t keep track of the page to see when it changed. I suspect the real world data drove the change but I really have no idea for sure.

I asked this once before, but how does the CT know if you have AT or AS tires on? Currently, I have the OEM AT tires, but planning on changing to AS tires when these wear out. Just because I planned to NEVER take it off-road, which will probably be the same for 90% of CT owners. Maybe a lawn or two, but that’s about it.
