Congrats Mini2nut!!! I know they all look the same when new but I'll keep saying it.... it's beautiful, fingerprints and all!
I good scrub down with Dawn dishwashing soap will help remove most of the manufacturing oils.

I am already prepared for stage 2 and 3.

Can someone with 1st hand info confirm:

If you don't move forward with your order within 48 hours once your truck is ready, you lose your 59k slot.

Iv seen a couple of posts regarding this but nothing official.

My Tesla rep said you can delay delivery for up to two weeks.

I also asked what happens if someone "rejects delivery" for QC issues. He stated due to strong demand for the CT at the moment you go to the back of the line.

Hi All – Just joined the board, but I’ve been watching this thread for the last couple of months. I put my order in for the 59K version on 2/28 because the delivery estimate wasn’t until 2027.

Does the pre-sale process give the option for designating a later delivery date?

I got the prompt to complete the pre-sale information earlier in the month, but I haven’t opened/started it since I didn’t want to actually get an earlier delivery date

The eagle has landed with 7 miles on the odometer😄

I ordered on 2/20 and took delivery today. I was scheduled for Sunday pickup but the truck arrived to the SC early. It took just over 2-weeks to arrive once it was shipped from TX.

I spent a good 45 minutes inspecting the vehicle inside and out. I checked operation of the tonneau cover, tailgate, all doors, all windows, frunk, no door rattles when closing all 4 doors, windshield seals, door weatherstripping, glass roof was perfectly centered, no different shades of body panels, all 4 door styling lines were spot on, etc. Also, no aberrations in the windshield and all of the glass was perfect.

I would rate the overall build quality a 98.7 out of 100. One can-trail was slightly misaligned (service ticket) on the rear passenger side, the drivers side tailgate upper black panel isn't 100% flush on the drivers side and there was a very, very hard to notice depression/dimple on the passenger side frunk that won't photograph. The 3 CT's parked next to me, all Premium trims, all looked the same so I decided to accept delivery. Otherwise the truck was perfect.

Don't expect Lexus or Porsche build quality with a Cybertruck, it's not going to happen. You may notice some very minor issues thanks to the thick 1.4mm and 1.8mm exterior SS panels. It's simply the nature of the beast.

My VIN is quiet as a church mouse inside. It's tight! Going over some speed bumps and rough roads on the way home revealed zero rattles, squeaks, abnormal noises or wind noise. Those are a HUGE pet peeve of mine so my CT passed with flying colors.

I truly feel as though I received a "good one" that wasn't assembled on a Monday or Thursday (4 10-hour CT assembly days last I heard). My app updated on a Tuesday saying it was being assembled and Thursday it updated again stating truck was in transit. Since Tesla only lists the month/year it was assembled I can only go by my app updates.

The truck is worth the wait. The steering dynamics, futuristic styling, SS exterior and technology are what sold me on the CT. The SBW and RWS makes the truck a true pleasure to drive. I was also pleasantly surprised at how good the 18" steelies and fabric seats look in person.

This is our 3rd Tesla purchase and we are spoiled on the ease of the purchase transaction. For those who are purchasing their first Tesla you are in for a rare automobile purchasing experience.

No sleazy salesman to deal with. No back and forth with a salesman who has to bring your offer to a manager for approval. No waiting your turn to enter the dreaded high pressure finance office and being pushed to buy paint protection, flat tire plans, seat protection, window tinting, undercoating, theft protection, VIN etching, etc.

I know, I know. Pic or it didn't happen:)
How close to 99k is your VIN

Did you take them off to install new wheels or was this just for fun? (The latter would be something I would do). ;)
I replaced them with a set of Mantle wheels I purchased off FB Marketplace. The person I bought them removed them with less than 100 miles off his Cyberbeast to install 24" wheels.

You know way more than me about the cleaning stuff so I'd like to ask a serious question.

What will happen if I don't do jack squat and just drive the thing and run it through a car was once a year? (Cause that's what im kinda leaning toward :) )

It will look like 99.9% of all other unwrapped Cybertrucks on the road.

Which isn't a bad thing. :)

Is that in prep to ceramic coat or just an initial deep clean?

I've already stockpilled what you've shown but I'm waiting closer to delivery to buy a ceramic coat and more pads for my trusty Porter Cable 7424.

So Far I'm loving my truck, I'm getting the OEM light bar next week and have done the all Mats and a bunch of OEM accessories that are very basic. I do have one concern, after reading lots of posts online and countless YouTube videos it seems to me that all CT's have some windshield distortion, I see it on mine but not sure I want it replaced in case it gets worse, because right now I see it but its not earth shattering. Is everyone else landing in the same place as I am on the windshield?
