We’re not in the pandemic anymore and this is not a new car model. The idea of a 12 month wait for a mass produced production vehicle is insane. We can’t compare preorders to this when the car was going from prototype to production.

My Tesla AI ETA also got pushed today.
It was 10/11 - 12/6. Today it's 11/11 - 1/20. 🫠
For my 2/20 evening order. Waiting 11 months is kinda bonkers, for a day 2 order.
Got tired of waiting, kinda checked out now. I have a R2 reserved. Who knows maybe that will deliver first. Or maybe even my Slate reservation in Q1 of 2027 lol.

I agree with @billyburger, 2024 build quality is not the best, ride is noisy, I would not get another 2024.

I agree. I legit get angry when I see people who ordered 2/21 and later getting vins when the 2/20 people who ordered within 48 hours or less are still getting nothing.

Oh well, June has come and gone. Being upset won't get us our VIN faster.
On the other hand, being told to be patient because it will suddenly and unexpectedly pop up, when you least expect it, doesn't really help either lol.

agreed, I kind of accepted it when the AI gave me a mid july estimate. But than pushed to Nov-Jan. To October and now sept. Just annoying. Why weren’t they just building them from March when the first batch of preorders came through.

I also wonder if scout was operational and if rivian had an R2T variant if Tesla would have more of a fire burning to get these out.

Yesterday I was july 22-aug 26. Today I am nov-jan 2027. At this point I'm convinced Tesla wants people to get worn down and cancel. It's downright pathetic how they are handling the situation.

Ordered 2/21 and just got my window pushed again from November 15th-December 26th, 2026 to 2027. Pretty bummed as I ordered the first day of release in 2019 but due to a technical issue I had to use a new account for this order and merge. So Tesla has $350 of my money and I don't have a truck. Also my model 3 lease ends in 2 weeks- so no idea what I'm going to do. I've had 3 Tesla's so this feels like a kick in the teeth. In general I feel like Tesla customer service and valuing the customer is totally gone. Between this and taking away auto steer in all new models it's pretty clear they are ringing out every last drop of profit for the street.

My delivery estimate changed from December-February to August 8th-September 19th just now. 02/22 Order - Chicago, IL. Only options selected are the 20” wheels. Seems the estimates are all over the place.

I can promise, a RWD light small truck isn't going to be good in western NY winters

I'm in western NY also I drove a rwd 2019 f150 it was possible with aggressive snow tires and weight in the bed but 4wd is 100x better my 2022 f150 was 4wd night and day difference and I didn't need to have a second set of tires for winter anymore

I have the Same setup and my dates changed to the same time frame today. Also in Illinois scheduled to pick up at Batavia Dealership.
