It looks like 2026 SAWD's are going to be rare bird. By the time this gets resolved I'm confident 2027 Cybertruck's will be in production as they usually switch model years sometime in September for the CT.

Even at the speed of Tesla I don’t see the current situation being resolved until September/October. Even if Tesla gets the green light from the courts to remove the tooling and set it up in their own facility it’s not going to happen overnight.

Tesla needs to contract with a millwright company to dismantle and remove the existing equipment, transport it and get the machinery set up and calibrated for production.

I understand that building brand new tooling would take 6-months because of the complexity so that’s not really an option for Tesla. Tesla is in a real pickle with their current supplier and the courts.

If Angstrom Automotive is actually ransoming Tesla as it sounds, perhaps, the court could rule for Tesla to take possession of the gear on site and resume production more quickly?

I'm guessing they must have some of the Angstrom parts on hand, or production would be zero. In fact, it is surprising production did not continue at pace until supply was exhausted. It has clearly been slow for some time.

My better half finally caved. She is enjoying the comfortable ride, roomy interior and great sound system. She still hates the polarizing styling of the exterior.

It looks like the order page also updated and pushed back dates. Cyberbeast went from July-August, now all the way to October. Unfortunate

I'm not finding anything in search regarding the SAWD in particular, I'm subscribed to FSD but don't have Smart Summons, are we getting it on this truck?

Yes. We will get it on this truck if you have FSD. Sadly, you may not see it for a while. Figured this out yesterday with the help of other forum members. However, the bad news is that they deliver the new trucks with outdated software and seem to be in no hurry to push up-to-date software to freshly delivered trucks. Summon is only supported in fairly recent FSD software.
