If Tesla finds out about this transfer AT ALL, the new buyer is screwed.

Tesla cannot do anything about straw purchases, or vehicle transfers.

However, the can and certainly have dropped the banhammer on the original purchaser, preventing them from ever ordering again.

Would they do so in this case? Who knows?
