I doubt all of it - I'm in GA and they have delivered to FL, NC, and NY. shit sucks
I’m not fully on top of every piece of news possible but I do follow Reddit and Twitter in this site closely. Based on what I’ve seen, I drop New York from your list that appears to have been a single delivery to a person who was a former Tesla sales manager.

Wow! Did your meds wear off? Or you're just having a shitty day. Either way, chill it's not a big deal. People are just curious about when they'll receive their CT. Tesla should be more transparent about timeframes. I understand at first a 3-month estimate was good, but as they move through the list. Tesla should give you an update on a timeframe. There are a lot of smart people at Tesla, so I don't think it would be too hard to figure out a way to send an email stating you're a few weeks away or a couple of days away from a VIN.
I feel you but I think the main disconnect here is that people think Tesla is first a car company. IMO they are first and foremost a tech company. Tech companies are not focused on communication. They’re focused on innovation.

I don’t disagree with your points on communication but Tesla isn’t, haven’t ever and never will be good on this front. Facts.

I’m thinking if people want to drive a Tesla, they are just going to have to get used to that and if they cannot, it’s gonna make them crazy and maybe they’d be better off with a different vehicle.

I get it tho. It’s a weird mindset shift from buying a car from a legacy dealer. Totally difference experience for better or worse…

Great so that confirms my point about dropping NY :)

You’re waiting for a VIN, I’m waiting for a Foundation Series invite, we’re all waiting. After 4.25 years we should all be pretty good at waiting by this point

Tomorrow will be 60 days since configuring my CT. I was invited on 12/8, configured on 12/22. I know some have been waiting longer than I have but the timeline I feel is slipping longer and longer. I feel Tesla is providing a 90-day delivery window since invites are given a 3-month timeframe. I am becoming impatient, as time goes on, may not have been so bad if I hadn't sold my Model 3 so quickly.
Bro, go outside, enjoy the day. Whining doesn’t help anyone or speed up anything.

66 days since ordering for me in Arizona (RN112755xxx). I'm not particularly concerned about the long wait. There are advantages to receiving units manufactured after some of the wrinkles in the manufacturing process are ironed out and the technicians at Tesla service centers gain more experience with the CT. If delivery hasn't occurred by April 1, I will be upset, though.

You are just a Tesla apologist. You have added no substance to this discussion. You interjected a few unrelated what aboutisms from Fisker and Rivian.

Based upon your responses, I can understand why your SA at Ducati may not have been warm and inviting. I always get an espresso or an affagto when I go to the Ducati store in the city.

This thread exists because of Tesla's failure to manage customer's expectations. I don't care if you get annoyed that I think Tesla's customer experience sucks. It's my experience. You mean nothing to me, so I do not value your opinion.

If you like the experience better, you should stick with Porsche, Mercedes and Ducati. I had a pretty good idea what the "customer engagement" would be like with Tesla before I bought my first one in 2018 and I have never been dissappointed. I don't want to engage with corporations any more than I need to and Tesla has engaged with me at the appropriate points. Cybertuck is my third new Tesla (I bought another used on the open market). All were good experiences.

I've also bought two new Ducati (and one used classic). I cannot say the Ducati dealership experience was any better than what I recieved at VW, Mazda, Ford or Volvo (and a relative owned the Volvo Dealership). Which is to say that I would rather have four wisdom teeth impacted and removed than do business with any of them. Maybe if they offered nitrous oxide to ease the buying experience, I would have a different opinion. But as it stands, I would far rather deal with the way Tesla does it. And that says a lot because only the Volvo was a special order, the rest were already on the lot or in the showroom and it was still a bad experience. No kidding.

But consumer choice is great, nobody is forcing you to do business with Tesla and you should have had a pretty good idea what to expect going into this. I'm just surprised that some people feel they need so much hand holding (when even Tesla doesn't know how all this is going to go down `because the ramp is so unlike any other manufacturing ramp in history). No one has done anything like this before. I'm talking about the technologies incorporated in the production line, the design of the production line and the evolving state of 4680 batteries made in-house. How can they hold your hand when they don't even know? No one else would have even attempted a truck built like Cybertruck.

Look at Fisker. They hire a super experienced manufacturer to build all their cars, their cars are of traditional construction, save for the solar panels on the roof, and there is a lot of chaos. Look at Rivian's launch of the R1T and R1S, reservationists had no idea when they were going to get their deliveries, and some were pushed back years.

I think the truth is, all the handholding in the world is not going to really prepare people, because even Tesla has no way of knowing how it will all unfold. Such is the first-world problems of early adopters of bleeding edge technology. Tesla could probably hold your hand a lot better if they sold these for $250K, then they would have a lot of margin to hire people to keep you constantly updated with the progress of your quarter-million-dollar vehicle and make you feel more important.

So you actually get an email? Ive read that most are just checking the app several times a day since ordering. Im RN 11275. I got my invite on 01/31 and ordered that day. Still waiting on a VIN. In SoCal
Interesting! I got my invite 12/27 and I dropped my $1k same day, and I'm RN 11278. Also still waiting for my VIN here in Southern Utah.

I like your attitude!

That doesn't mean delays are not possible. With respect to production, Tesla will proceed in a rational manner. If everything is not a go, Tesla will address any shortcoming, not turn a minor problem in a huge disaster down the road. Those of us who are not making it happen can't speed it up or slow it down.

You ordered the day after I did, but I bet you get yours first since you are closer to the factory.
