Has anybody gotten there recommended 6000 mile or 6 month check? Wondering how many have had alignment issues and how durable the suspension is. I have seen Cybertrucks hitting sidewalks on FSD, which can’t be good for a normal vehicle.

My vehicle wasn’t aligned to ideal values from the factory. Cheap insurance to have it checked but the alignment procedure is specific and the shop performing these steps need to be able to carry them out appropriately. If it’s off then getting the values correct can extend tire life.

For me, I'd only take it to a service center. Too complex for me to trust other shops with the air suspension and 4 wheel steering at this time.

I think it was about $180 when I asked for it. Not far off from when I got my Y wheel alignment at a local shop.

I didn’t rotate until ~9k miles, all four tires were nearly equal wear at that time. When I swapped the ATs for snow tires at ~18,500 all tires still showed equal wear but lightly more wear on the inboard tread. I’ve been diligent about maintaining OEM pressures, a majority of miles in low/chill (multiple x000 mile xc trips)

I took mine (FS AWD 113xx) to a Tesla SC for rotation and alignment check at ~6,900 miles.

Tech called me and said all tires were wearing perfectly even and didn’t need to be rotated. Also, the alignment was in spec and no adjustment was needed. They didn’t charge for the rotation or the alignment check.

Yeah. Alignment matters. Son's 3 in college had crazy wh/mi. Like cybertruck like. Got it aligned. all wheels going outwards. Now back to normal. Glad it was only a couple hundred miles.

If in short time of new ownership I would ask SC. Alignment from a tech that does alignments and is competent is pretty easy. It is the 21st century. Most of the Hunter machines can do anything and also pretty much guide a tech on what to do. Just don't pay a Tesla tax. Find someone that you can trust. I have one in a couple cities.
