I think it's a near 100% guarantee. There's limited demand in the $80k+ range and eventually it'll make sense for Tesla to sell slimmed down versions and I don't see any reason why a single motor variant with a smaller battery couldn't hit the $60k price point. Now, I absolutely believe that Tesla will exhaust the demand for the higher margin trims first, but anyone who thinks their Cybertruck is going to be some rare vehicle that escapes the reality of vehicle depreciation is kidding themselves.

There will eventually be 10 on every street corner and will be Cyberbeast badges right next to the ///M and AMG badges for people to slap on the lower trims.

Anyone who purchased a Cybertruck for celebrity status should enjoy it while it lasts, it won't be for long.

We will see the $61k RWD trim but probably not until Q4 2025/Q1 2026.

It's pretty clever how Tesla is marketing the high margin $100k/$120k FS trucks.

-Only Cybertruck reservation holders and influencers first
-Any affluent buyer with a heartbeat in the US next
-Canada and Mexico buyers are the latest group

By adding Canadian and Mexico Tesla can hopefully prolong high margin FS Cybertruck sales until the end of 2024 model year.

Of course there will be a $60k Cybertruck. It helps that a lot of the parts are already in the Tesla lineup. $60k is right around the corner. Especially after the elections and the rightful person takes office.

Has to be a $60K model for fleet buyers. In the Western sun belt, Texas, Florida, Nevada, Arizona, southern California, Southeast U.S., companies are not going to pay $80K for AWD dual motor version for fleets that never off-road. The total number of EVs already sold in this whole area is huge. There is the potential for millions of units of Cybertrucks for fleets of businesses and use by government agencies (including police & other first responders).
