Potentially. But there are no CTs without a PM motor, not even the single motor.

So "if" it was going to happen I'd expect the software path is the way of least resistance overall. Because it only needs a software update to make it work. Somebody in Tesla just needs to make the software.

The Beast uses rear induction, no? That could possibly be towed on a dolly
