Does this happen primarily on L2 48 amp charging? Since I charge at 32 and 24 amps max, I wonder if I will encounter this issue.

I’m wondering if this is true. Need a poll of who have had failures and what is their charging amps.

No issue here, AWD 22k miles, always charging at 32amps at Home. I wonder if I can force the failure if I charge at 48.
If you can charge at that rate it would be good to get a failure while under warranty.

I actually have an appointment this Monday at SC to have them check the part, I complained to them that we've had many PCS failures reported and wanted mine checked out. In the meantime I will charge at 48 and let's see if it fails.

Report after the appointment please. I had no idea they could take a look/diagnose it without a failure.

Let us know how it goes. I took mine it last week. I said I had a PCS error how up on my screen even though I hadn't, hoping they would replace it. They did nothing. Said they couldn't find the error into logs. Let us know how your appointment goes.

Drove over to the Supercharger, and it won't DC charge, either.

I'm at 8% and my SC appointment is not until March 2nd. I asked if I could stop by earlier, and they said they don't have the part in stock, that it's on the way and once it arrives they can take my truck.

So now I have to figure out how to make 8% last...

Mine had the same error, but did it at about 78% battery, so I left for work that morning and then supercharged it on the way home. When I got home it started charging again but only at 24 Amps, PCS replaced just barely under the 50k.

The early DeLoreans had a little flap in the hood, over the fuel cap:

Tesla Cybertruck AC Charging unavailable dmcfla

The stamped stainless was prone to cracking when they punched out the flap, so after awhile they simply omitted it. To add gas, you had to open the whole trunk (frunk? bonnet? whatever).

Problem is, the hood has a cable release. If the cable detached or broke, you had exactly 1 tank of gas to figure out how to break in lol.

Many owners added a second cable, threading it through the firewall and letting it dangle under the dash "just in case".
