A few days ago I received a text from Tesla stating my Cynerbeast is ready and for me to finalize the order.

Mind you that I had my awd version ready in early April, but I had decided to postpone my delivery and ended up changing my order to the Cyberbeast. I was told it would be ready late in the year (which is exactly what I wanted).
But unfortunately for me, it's ready now.

Question, is anyone here familiar with how long Tesla provides someone who's in my boat to accept delivery of their CT?
Do they give you a few days, a few weeks?
Also, what if I never respond to their texts, would I be removed from making another CT order and loose my $1k deposit??

If you decline delivery you can kiss your $1k deposit goodbye.

I think you can ask them to pass it on and put your order on hold.

I think as long as you communicate with them, they could pass that vin to the next person, there is someone wanting it now. Which location by chance? Cause I am waiting on my vin still

I wish I could take that hit for you! I’d love to have mine now! I hope it all works out!

I picked up my Beast on 5/2, but almost surrendered.

Tesla text that my VIN was assigned and truck would be delivered within two weeks. I replied back with my current situation (at the time) and asked if I could hold for just a few months.

Their response (seems standard) was that they would hold my “reservation” for 185 days but I would surrender my VIN.

I never replied, in case my situation changed, which it did. A week later, I simply completed tasks and got truck a few days after that.

My reservation RN112841593.
My order for the cyberbeast was submitted Jan 17th. I've heard nothing since. That's 4 months as of the 17th. What is a typical order to vin delta today? Anyone know?

I wouldn't expect your Beast order to be fulfilled until second half of this year. Ramp up for the Cyberbeast is still much slower than the AWD (about 100 Beasts a week produced compared to 900 AWD a week) and they are still working on fulfilling early December orders for the Cyberbeast.

Order configured on 01/12/2024 for a Cyberbeast.
121 days and counting, still no VIN.

If you tell them you need more time to get your financing in order, they will give you a six months delay one time and then assign you with an identical build. I originally wanted to put more down so I asked about the option, though it seems different salespeople are going different things.

I looked at the difference in financing cost and it wasn't wide enough for me to wait 6 months, so I just jumped in. I'll just instead apply extra to principal when my payment comes in (I get paid in lump sums several times a year), which will only net me a reasonable increase to interest cost over the life of financing.

With that said, I was a bit confused how this works for foundation series. If you get Beast FS and they push it 6 months, but then FS is done in six months, what do you get? Do they try to retrofit your vin with all the FS stuff after the program is done? Do you get non-FS? This is my biggest question about the six month delay that they couldn't answer.

I have no inside info, but I did pick up my CyberBeast on 05/09. It was ready last week, and I wasn’t. I asked to hold it and was told they would, but only for 1 week. Luckily, i picked it up two days early. I was told it was the 1st CB in Delaware! My insurance co wait it was also their first! 4 days later, and almost 1000 miles on it with absolutely no issues!

May I ask you what the first few numbers of your VIN are? Mine starts with RN1207. Just trying to get an idea of when mine will be ready. Thx

Thank you, That really helps stabilize the anxiety. Tesla is really terrible about communicating status on orders and service.
This is a serious deficiency at Tesla. However, They are not unique, the doctors office staff and banking businesses today are demonstrating the same issues. Complete lack of feedback.
