Car Charger Specialists installed my 3V Gateway + UWC 06/27/24. They do good work. They ran a separate circuit for the UWC (instead of retiring my aging 15 kW JuiceBox...so, now I have 2 EVSEs and 2 Gateways. Cost for labor was $2550.00. I used my voucher to purchase the 3V Gateway + UWC, which are being shipped to my home; however, Car Charger Specialists have inventory, so they used theirs for the install and said I "when my order is delivered, I can transfer it to them".

There are OTA updates that are required before I have full access to all the Powershare features. The schematic they shared with me shows the 3V Gateway upstream of my Powerwall Gateway. My question to them was "can I use my truck to charge my Powerwalls?" Nobody seems to know the answer. I tried a simulated grid failure via the app, but the Powershare page in the app didn't change, which is, I guess, expected behaviour since my original Gateway is downstream of the Powershare Gateway. CCS suggested that I may have to throw a physical switch in order to accomplish my goal. We will see.

As it stands, my 10.4 kW Tesla solar + 2 Powerwalls performs brilliantly and we have no regrets.

Honestly, if anyone wants to buy my $1800 voucher from me for $1100, let me know. I have pretty much everything that I need from the store. I wonder if you can stack the vouchers for a larger purchase.
