Well, I delayed as much as I could finally pull the trigger on the Michelin’s to replace the Wrangler territories. They barely made it 30K miles

They really live up to what everyone had said. Very quiet. Look just fine with the Cybertruck Covers. Definitely recommend for anyone looking to replace their tires.

But that hideous sidewall…

LOL.

I do respect the choice however, people have given good reviews so I would consider them an option.

I know, I really liked the matching tire with the wheels covers. But getting only 29K miles isn’t super fun. And I was also worried since now the Wrangler Territory seems to be more limited to who’s carrying them (Tesla, Tire Rack) and I wanted to be able to utilize Discount Tire for warranty.

I don’t think I’ve ever gotten 30k miles out of a set of tires. My wife’s BMW goes through a set a year. I’m pretty happy with the wear on the wranglers but glad you like those. I’d love to find a set that are quiet, look great and wear well.

I'm envious of all those who report more than 15k miles with the OEM Goodyear tires. I only drive my truck local for a few miles a day and got 10.5k miles on mine.

my household has had multiple Teslas (S, 3, Y) going back to 2014 and we have averaged replacement tires around 16-25k when even driving non-aggressively. it's the local miles that kill us!

also if you are curious I went with KO3's for the truck.

Yikes! I've never gotten more than 25k out of OEM tires going back to 16 on MS. But I changed brands when I replaced tires and have done significantly better. I never go back with what came on a Tesla.

So will these work as well for light off-roading? Or more of a strictly onroad tire?

Last 2 days I had both my passenger side tires to start going low. Looks like I might have picked up screws in both at the same time within the last couple days. Lucky me. And it turns out my Pirelli's are too far down on the wear bars for Discount Tire to fix. Not even to 17k on those original tires. CB getting new shooz today, Michelin Defender LTX Platinums, rated for 70k miles.
With the terrestrial armor and the tires, Nov is an expensive month.

These babies are currently in my TIreRack shopping cart.

$495 each.

Really strongly considering as I'm at 27k miles on my original Goodyear tires.

Was hoping they may be quieter than OEM

Discount price for me is about $546 per tire, mounted. I don't have time to shop around as I'm Field Service and need my ride back asap.

Are you expecting to get close to 70k out of Michelin tires on CT?

Has anyone on here tried these tires off-road?

It would be nice, but don't know, I was expecting more out of the Pirelli Scorps..................

The Scorpions are basically car tires. The Platinums are real truck tires - two more ply’s, E rated vs D, etc. I might feel differently if I had a lot of cold weather or snow, due to the harder and longer-wearing compound, but spending winters in Florida means not caring. Weather and length of day is a choice.
