Any news on range extender?

Wonder if existing battery packs can be modified with additional cells by Tesla if this is the case that there is free room. I’d pay for that but not the bed battery pack extender.

There is significant room in the construction of the truck for additional battery capacity.
Tesla will need to utilize that space and offer a larger battery pack if they want the truck to reach a wide audience besides Youtubers and folks like myself who just want a fun car to zip around town in on the weekend.
The good news is Tesla has designed the empty space in the vehicle already and those battery improvements along with charging time reductions will make the truck competitive besides the fun status simbol it is now.
