I've seen DIY kits and I've been watching videos about this topic. Seems like it's not impossible but most panels are easy except a few portions of the car that might be a little harder. Has anyone with zero experience done it here? It also looks quite time-consuming so I was just wondering if it turned out to be worth it. If I could do it myself, I'd switch colors from time to time whereas with an installer, I'd probably rarely switch colors. Maybe once every few years.

I assume vinyl is much easier than PPF and probably not recommended to DIY the latter.
With installation about $3000-$3500, maybe we should take the risk to do it ourselves.

Looks like you still need about 10 hours to do it.

I wrapped my truck by watchin Panthar Video.. not that hard. PPF is way easier to install imo
you thought PPF was easier? How so? If/when I splurge for the truck, I was going to go with a DIY gloss black…I am a little timid to DIY and leery take off parts of the CT to do the wrap. The PPF kinda sounded harder..
why did like the PPF install? It’s a more durable product and not that much more on TSportsline or Tesbros, so feels like a better option but the install…

What made you PPF the front? Were you getting nicks and dings in vinyl?

bugs ...mosquitoes ... dying and sticking on the front panel ... when I try to scrub them off during washing I happen to scrub little aggressive... which caused Vinyl to scratch... I did not want ultra strong PPF... some simple cheap PPF to cover vinyl for 3-4 years ... got this roll for 68 $ with tax ... front panel was probably 20 $ from that piece ...
