I will do nothing with this reservation, the plan was to get this one 6-8 years down the road. I do wonder what the conversion/order rate will be when we get to non-FS trucks? Hopefully it will be higher than the FS!
It will likely be cancelled 6-8 years down the road. Tesla is stating that if you reserve a CT today you'll get it next year. If they ramp up to 125k, most will get their non-FS next year or at the latest early 2026.

I can confirm that TESLA is still reaching out to reservation holders, and it looks like they going to invite EVERYONE!! They have to be near the end of the list!!

Anyhow, I just got invited to configure my second CT reservation that was made in March 2024, RN 1212xxxxx. And yes, it is on the same account as my current CT order.

BTW, I haven't received that first CT yet, RN 11329xxxx made in Feb. 2020 and the order configured in May 2024.

100% agree as I have 3 Cybertruck’s on order. If you have a CT reservation and a heartbeat you now qualify for the invite?

Here are my invite and reserve dates:

-First invite arrived on 3/7/24 (reserved on day 2)
-Second invite arrived today 8/2/24 (reserved on 5/8/2020)

It’s funny that today‘s single e-mail invite allowed both of my 5/8/2020 Cybertruck reservations to go live and allowed me to “start designing”.

Like the majority of my fellow members I have elected to pass and wait for a non-FS truck. The bonus for being patient? The possibility of getting a CT with the new dry cathode 4680 battery pack.

I also predict that a FS resale values will plummet as soon non-FS trucks are available to order.

The “limited edition” production run and zero performance gains will not help with resale values down the road unless you have a very low VIN with super, super low miles.

I got my invite for a July 2023 order a few weeks back, went through the process and ultimately put it on hold. Interestingly, I was assigned a 21XXX VIN last week here in AZ so I wonder if someone else passed on this one.

I ultimately put it on hold and after asking my contact to do so, they automatically put a 6 month hold on it through Feb 2025. I am curious what happens since this was a FS invite and order, and let's say they are done with FS in 2-3 months and I say I am ready, where do I go in line since it's on hold still?

The Foundation series premium is not as high as you think. Once you back out $8K for FSD, $2K for Tesla Credit, and whatever lifetime Premium Connectivity and All-Weather Rubber mats are worth to a buyer, the Foundation Series premium doesn't look like much more than a hill of beans.

We would expect to see a new truck lose 25% of its value as soon as driven off the lot. Maybe the release of non-FS Cybertrucks will finally get us there. If that's what you considering a plummeting of resale value, then we are doing very well indeed. Of course those who don't plan to sell in the first couple of years don't give a crap anyway.

Also, I don't attribute the same value to "very low VIN" numbers either. You seem to think the Cybertruck is some kind of collectible or something. It would be a real rare buyer who cares if the production number is "very low". Most buyers would probably not have a strong preference either way, it's all about condition, mileage, location and availability.

It's a truck, and a damn good one. Don't over-think it.

I completed my trade-in so now sit and wait for VIN and Scheduling Delivery Date!
Be prepared for it to expire before you get your VIN.

If the $7500 federal tax credit applies to the $79,990 AWD trim it‘s going to be great news.

A non-FS AWD buyer could be looking at significant savings, $27,500, over a $100k FS truck.

I also think that potential FS Cybertruck buyers are disgruntled that Tesla is charging a $4k premium for FSD over other Tesla models AND the software option isn’t even available to use.

If they can't keep up with demand why keep sending out invites.
