Pretty self-explanatory question. Would AS or AT tires handle the snow better?

Depends, are you cutting through actual snow or are you driving on packed pavement?

AS are designed for all season road conditions and are going to be a better choice if you have no intention of swapping to snow tires, leaving pavement, AND you're driving on plowed roads.

AT are much more multifunction, but will not perform as well on plowed paved roads. In return they'll perform significantly better in unplowed areas, extreme weather conditions, and off-road. With the correct wide ATs, proper side wall height and ply, and tuned tire pressure you can even do deep snow trudging--but expect to upgrade to an 18" wheel first.

Frankly there are better options, but you only wanted to know about AS vs AT, so there's my short of it!
Both are fine, but I hope that helps.
