Audio issue: only front dash speaker works

I’m only getting audio from the front dash area after the update; no sub or bass audio. Is anyone else having this issue?

I’ve tried adjusting the audio settings and source, and did a restart with no difference.

This actually just happened to me. Went out to dinner, came back to the truck with no bass and no way to adjust it. Did a restart, still nothing. Hmmm...

Some more info, rear speakers are not working as well as the base.

I haven’t noticed the sound yet but my left and right cameras are not working after the update. Initially the side cameras when activated by indicator were showing static images taken 10 min ago on both sides. I did a SW reset and the side cameras went dark.

Mine came back to life hours later by itself.

Aaand now it's working again ?

I just let it be overnight, and the next morning, it was fine again. No idea why.

After .7 update the microphone wont activate and the music volume does nothing from any source. It plays just very quiet and the volume indicator moves with no effect.

Given these "gremlins" appear after a software update and mysteriously vanish, I'm guessing the update pushes changes to the various modules. Either it takes time to do so, or the modules need to be "rebooted" after the update.

I leave the truck for 5 minutes and now the sound and mic work

This happened again today but this time not directly after an update. My software was updated last weekend.

After doing the soft restart with no difference, I powered off the CT from the center console then walked away for 30 minutes. Maybe it’s luck but I came back to a fully working audio system.

On a side note, my entry seat position was also changed and the automatic suspension lowering to entry during park also did not work upon discovering the audio issue this morning. Not sure if it is related.

I remember a similar issue like this on my model S. It randomly lost elements of the speaker audio output and it also caused the microphone to be unavailable. Overnight deep sleep seemed to fix it only for it to return the next day.

Ended up putting in a service request. They ripped the car apart and found a loose connection. As the audio system operates on a closed loop one small connector caused the issue to appear.

Have you tried the power off function?

Yup did that same audio issue

Update I guess it just had a temper tantrum and my speakers are back to full blast. I just ended up charged it over night and it corrected itself this morning ??
