If I had to do it I would join the US Capitol Historical Society.

Just remember if you trade a car in with Tesla, you only pay tax on the new car price minus the trade in. Even if you can get a few more thousand selling it privately it usually does not make up the difference in the higher taxes. Good luck everyone!!

Back during the Model 3 ramp up I followed a few threads about loan companies and rates people were getting to help decide where to apply.

I didn’t see any threads like that started yet so I figured I’d start one.

I just locked in 5.29% over 72 months through NavyFederal Credit Union ($100k financed)

What’s everyone else seeing?

I already have NFCU, so when my CT reservation comes around in 3025 I'll be ...dead. I mean 2025, I will be ready.

Have not heard back from Tesla. If I am approved for the loan. yet.

How long did it take for you get it approval on your lone after you receive the your loan approval from Tesla?

Does anyone know if Tesla waits to see if you get loan approval before they give you a delivery date?

Is your credit score excellent and how much did you finance?

You get special rates depending on your balance average. Pretty ok credit not 800 but close … basically 20% down

USSFCU.org took one day for approval. It did take a bit longer to establish account as we have DL from different states.

Financed 100% 5.24 60 months.

has anyone tried to rate match through tesla? I know a lot of times the banks have rate contingencies that require you to bank with them. What I did in the past was get an awesome rate and then tesla rate matched it through usbank and i didnt have to use that bank. But they only rate match when youre like super approved and about to sign. So you do leave the bank hanging a bit.

So a little over $1,400/mo for 6 years after a $50k down payment for AWD
Personally I would NOT recommend anyone finance longer than the full Tesla warranty is in place, if you have a major needed repair and still have a $1k monthly payment could be in a bad spot.

I received the e-mail invitation on Friday, 12/8/23 and completed my CyberBeast order on 12/9/23 at 9:30 am Pacific. My RN is 11279. I applied for a Tesla loan and was approved immediately.

My loan through Tesla is 72 months at 6.59%. They are financing the vehicle and my cashier's check is for the registration, license fees and sales tax.

Through this thread, I just finished the application for a bank account through USSFCU, with eligibility through VACC. Once my account is opened then I'll see if they can offer me a better loan rate.
