Excellent. I'd guess the next step will be FSD and then Actual Smart Summon after that.

ASS is a subset of FSD, so if you get FSD you will probably also get ASS at the same time. Just a guess.

I get this feature is a step towards FSD, but isn't parking yourself just faster?

I got places to be and shit to do ya know?
If I didn't use it in the MSP, MYLR I don't see why I would start using it now in the CT. I can back the CT up no problem and a hell of a lot faster.

I have a hard time trusting it won't hit something.
It's been in the cars for a while now. Unlike the older version, this one does it relatively quick.

It definitely stays clears of other obstacles.

You guys may never use the FSD suite but we all paid for it and I for one find these releases comforting in that Tesla is seemingly adhering to the schedule they published. I am looking forward to FSD and to enhanced trailer support.

When ive used park assist in other teslas, i think of it as an opportunity to gather my things and get ready to exit the car while it is still being parked. Yeah, it takes a few more seconds than i would while parking, but then i can typically get right out once its done. You should still monitor the vehicle while its parking though

Auto Park now available for early access program members ?

Added video of it in action (by Whole Mars Catalog)

Does anyone know if there is any thoughts around the timing of when this Autopark software update gets dropped in my Cybertruck? Also....should I stay on the Standard or customized feature related to software downloads into the CT?

Leave it set to Advanced as thats "supposed" to get it to you quicker.

I think in reality it just adds +2% to the d100 random roll generator, and you are hoping for a Critical hit to receive the download :ROFLMAO::LOL:

Do I have your attention now?

our 2018 Model 3 was hit in a parking lot not long after we got it.

By what? By a Model S owner who decided to try out "self parking" FOR FIRST F*CKING TIME in a spot next to our car. I'm convinced he only fessed up to it because he figured he'd been captured on video (he had not, it had been disabled somehow).

SO.... as a general rule, don't test things in public next to other peoples property. Why do I even have to say this????

Get some trash cans, set them up on YOUR property, and test it THERE. Or test it next to YOUR other vehicles.

Has anyone got it here?
Doesn't seem like it. Seems that they "met their this weekend" goal by releasing it to a few early testers is all.

I expect FSD may be the same, around September 30th, if FSD does release for FSD at all, it'll go to a a few early testers as well... then the rest of us perhaps in October or even November after it iterates some again.
