Lets look at this sanely. Globally how many cars in the quarter? Over 5 days how many of them would be ordered? How much is 50k above that?

About 4.2k per day give or take 500. So just saying 5k. It could be as many as 25k AWD ordered in that period.

I ordered on Feb.23, RN127162XXX, when I ordered the website said Jun delivery, I called and spoke with a Tesla agent a few days ago, she told me expect 2027 delivery.

Hoping your wait is shorter than mine! Either way, it's an amazing machine. You'll love it and forget about the wait time once you take possession.

I cleared my chat and the asked it again today and it told me estimated was September 14-November 23rd.

You're still way ahead of me, i reserved june 2020, placed order feb 2026, now another wait.

You've been able to place an order without a reservation for over a year. And inventory units were regularly available in 2025. The delay was on you, not Tesla.

LOL. that would be a reality show I might watch. If the pictures are real, I thought purchasers with a reservation number were notified when a VIN was assigned and the truck was in production. How did CTs escape production without owners being notified?

Why the Window Shifted

Tesla has put a temporary hold on recent-production Cybertruck deliveries nationwide. Vehicles that are already built and sitting at local service centers are being held until they receive a critical firmware update—specifically pushing vehicles from software version 2026.14.3 up to 2026.14.6.

Because service centers are processing and clearing these updates in batches (reportedly around 30 trucks every few days per site), Tesla adjusted delivery windows outward to give the service teams a buffer to catch up.
