I was looking through the manual for some other specs and saw the following stating not to have the truck below -22 F for more than 24 hours. While we don't get a lot of days around this temp, we do sometimes go for multiple days every so often.

Might have to get a heater for my garage .

Unless the garage is detached, it will soak some heat from common walls to the living area. You should put a data-recording thermo-sensor in the garage (there are cheap ones on Amazon) and track the temperature against outdoor ambient.

I wonder if the truck will heat the pack when below this temp and plugged in... ?

Worst case, you can put the truck in Camp Mode. Just keeping the interior warm should elevate the battery temp sufficiently.

The other cars will do this, they say to keep plugged in, in that weather.

There might be some other modifications you want to be that cold - but that's true of ICE vehicles as well.
