I’ve been looking and haven’t found any yet. Does anyone know if there’s a rearview mirror that utilizes a camera that you don’t have to a take wire from the from the front all the way back to back. A camera that is battery operated and transmit the video to a rearview mirror?

I already had a garmin zumo laying around and bought their wireless camera…i mount the gps unit on a ramball on the back of screen and the camera either on lic plate mount (provided) or on velcro on top of bed front below rear window…i use for when tailgate down and dirtbikes loaded…works well, does lose connection once in a while and i have to push button to turn back on…and batteries ar AA and last for a few saturday trips, dont run or use when no bikes in truck. Good part time soln but would do wired for full time solution. Bit pricey if dont have a garmin laying around.

I am using the Hansshow product, and putting these on the dashcam connection: https://www.rearviewsafety.com/hd-waterproof-wireless-transmitter-for-simplesighttm-series-1.html

The backup cam will be wired, mounted on the roof, and the dash cam will be wireless for use on trailers. Hansshow has a video of the roof mount installation. It is straight forward.

I have not figured out yet where the wireless receiver will be located. Ideally above the headliner, but not sure there is enough room up there.
