Thanks I thought maybe someone might have read it somewhere for production. I have ready anywhere from 48" to 57 something x 72 to 78
Kevin
Exactly. That is why you won't get an answer you can take to the bank because we don't know . I would run with Typope's info as what we have mostly landed on as best guess.

Floor dimensions will be 49"x77", widening and shortening as you go up.

That's what my crystal ball says anyway.

In the Tesla earning call in July Musk said the bed is "plus six feet". I translate that as "over six feet". You won't be disappointed if you use 6 feet and one inch at the floor, so 73 inches is what I'm using until someone measures it or Tesla releases the dimensions.

Many of the statements in the cyberpackpack webpage are now wrong based on imagery we've seen of "release candidate" trucks (marble dash, sail pillar storage, and fold-down mid gate , for example), or improbable (tailgate ramp, seating for six), or unconfirmed (6.5 ft bed length).

I'm very interested in the exact dimensions of the closed vault myself. I currently haul my music performance equipment to shows in a 2002 GMC Yukon XL. It would be great to replace the old Yukon with a CT, operating it with the vault cover closed.

My equipment all fits in the cargo area of the Yukon without folding down the second row seats, but it fills up. The Yukon's cargo area definitely shorter and taller than the Cybertruck's closed vault, and may even have less total volume than the Yukon in its 5 passenger configuration. I'm concerned that my largest pieces of gear, a portable Hammond organ and its Leslie speaker, may not fit in the Cybertruck with the vault closed. That would be a problem and would force me to add some kind of topper if/when they become available.

I've resigned myself to wait until I or someone I trust can measure a production truck.

yeah, I don’t think you say “over six feet” if it’s still 6.5’

I remember reading the base width was 49” at the narrowest point on bottom

That's the smallest it could be, with what they've said.

But we don't know, exactly. No one has been in the bed to measure it who's not under an NDA.
