Cool, but I’d rather have the rubber-ish bed liner (like the ones the all weather floor mats are made of), which I do and like.

But, the Tesla Shop really needs to improve their product descriptions. They never answer the most basic questions. Like, for this mat, is the underside rubber or something to prevent the mat from sliding around when you drag a heavy item (like a plastic container) across it?
The picture on their website of the bottom looks rubbish. I bet it’s non slip.

I don’t understand the appeal of this product offering.
Stopping the truck bed from getting all scratched up. Keeping things from sliding around a bit.

I can throw my skis in the back now without having them scratch things up or slide around the bed.

I bought this yesterday but am wondering if it will impact the functionality of the Vault Cargo Bins.
Since they're designed to slide in nicely to the grooves of the bare truck bed, I wonder if these will lose a bit of functionality with the mat installed.

What do you all think? I can report back when I install the mat.

I think if the bins have a decent amount of weight to them, it will compress the mat enough to get that nice fitment. May even be more stable than before due to the grip.

Yeah good point, I hope that's the case!

Based on others experiences I would bet 99% it will not work.
I got the cargo divider...after 3 weeks, I took it out and it collects dust in my garage.
The divider will not work - it engages in the bed valleys - and is very, very, very sensitive to the bed deck height to the side rails.

Would’ve been okay if the bed was waterproof lol.

Umm, perhaps a rubber mat would be best?? Lol
would that be flexible enough to run up the side walls too? Seems like it'd be overly heavy although it would be more protective. I don't really wanna have to store it either, I can't see myself using it more than a dozen times

Same material as their textile interior mats. Similar to an outdoor carpet. Can be hosed off. Exactly what I was looking for. Ordered.
That's what I was thinking. Thanks for the insight.

wish they specified if this will work with the cargo divider. tried to use 3rd party with the divider and it was too tight would make it jam in.

hoping this is the perfect amount of clearance.
Yep it works. The divider has removable feet that are two pieces you just take the bottom piece off.
