I dont think Tesla will entertain and CT pick-ups and tour there....will be too much of a distraction and they will not have the resources to provide....in addition, insurance will be a staggering amount for liability for a just opened factory.....JMHO

By the time Cybertruck deliveries start, the factory will have been operating for over a year!

Tesla has done regular factory tours in the past in Fremont so it is not that oddball of a concept. Also, I think Musk at some point hinted they would be opening the factory to the public at some point.

As a side note. Apparently when they said they were moving Tesla HQ to Texas what they meant was they were moving Tesla HQ **inside the Gigafactory**.

Yeah, while not alot of staff moved with the HQ - in the internet age that doesn't matter so much anyhow - the offices seem to be behind the T-shaped window.

I remember in one of EMs factory tours he pointed out that he intentionally gets his engineers to work "on the factory floor" and not hiding away in a office block somewhere disconnected from the problem.

Accordingly I'd imagine they are in the Giga building, in offices specifically near their part of operations. Makes sense.
