I’m very short (5ft) and a little worried that I won’t be able to sit in the truck and/or test drive to see if it fits me. Has anyone been able to test the truck before final payment?

Already configured/ waiting for vin. Already in the spreadsheet.

You can certainly sit in it, but driving it, i do not know. I'm not sure how it would work if someone crashed the vehicle before making payment, accepting delivery, etc.

There is no driving prior to acceptance. You can inspect the car, and the interior. The liability transfer has to take place via signing or Tesla Application acceptance. If fitment is an issue. I highly suggest either reaching out to a generous owner, or Turo. Maybe there is a showroom nearby that has an open Cybertruck.

No test drives at any showroom I have been to (3 in two states), but at my local showroom you can get in and play with the suspension settings, and that should address your height issues. The other recommendations for rental, though expensive, might help.

Wait! Since when?!?!? I tried last month and was told that they weren’t sure if they were going to be allowed to let guests touch it.

No test drives and most places will not allow you to even sit in it. This will likely change once the initial excitement dies down and Tesla realizes that people won't pay 100k sight unseen, until then it is a luxury item somewhat in demand. You also can not sell or return the truck so keep that in mind.

I checked, can moved forward a lot closer, height adjustment is limited and more importantly, may have difficulty with confortable headrest ? Regards, Kevin

^hyperbole. One can inspect the inside of truck or car. The rest is nonsense.
