it’s really hard to get the right angle in a photo.
if you look straight on, it looks fine. It’s just from a far distance you can see it. I walked around the car day of delivery and everything looked good. It wasn’t until I parked it and came from a distance when I noticed it. You can see it like looking top down. But it’s really subtle bend
It doesn't look subtle at all in this photo:

It's either two big obvious dents, or it's Photoshop. The more clear photos you post that are consistent with one another, the less it looks like Photoshop.

It doesn't make any sense that it's only visible from a distance. Usually, the closer you get to a dent or irregularity (within reason), the better you can see the dent.

It's normal for the cold-rolled stainless steel to have some slight waviness from the manufacturing process, but the angle in the above photo is the least likely angle to show off the normal waviness exhibited by the panels. What you have exhibited here looks more like actual dents, not manufacturing waviness. But it also looks suspiciously like photoshop. I'm not accusing you of that, I'm just explaining why more clear photos would help illustrate what we are actually looking at better.

Nothing fancy, just all the doors closed, looking down the side of the truck from both directions in daylight. Without heavy compression artifacts. A simple cell phone camera should be more than sufficient.

This is what poorly repaired vehicles look like in used car lots.

e: I agree with hauling ass, this is photoshopped and you are stirring up trouble.

I promise it’s not photoshopped. I love tesla. This is my fourth one.
I’ll take more photos tomorrow in the daylight.

That looks bad. Really bad.

I would expect Tesla to replace the quarter panel under warranty. Keep us posted!

yeah I’ll post some tomorrow. Sorry. I’m not trying to stir things or create drama. Just was legitimately curious what people thought. It is not two dents. It seems like its waviness but in a weird spot where certain lighting make it looks like dents. I was just saying it’s more obvious at a distance. When I look top down I definitely see some waviness in that area.
But I’ll post extra pictures tomorrow, different angles. Doors closed.

I'm keeping an open mind. Which is why I requested better photos from a variety of angles. If it's what it looks like in the first photo, I don't think Tesla would deny it needs a new panel. Exactly when the damage happened is a separate question and will determine who is responsible for the repair bill, the OP's insurance company or Tesla. I don't know how anyone could miss such a thing on delivery.

That looks like a dent. Might have been damaged during shipment.

In all seriousness, I’d like to believe Tesla wouldn’t give you an issue with a warranty claim after 100 miles cause this is not induced damage; there is no point(s) of impact. Similar to paint defects, if it’s not induced damage, it’s covered. If they deny you at one Service Center, open another ticket and pick a different Service Center

HFS can take sledgehammer blows without damage. I can't image how that bend would have happened post-installation without also doing other damage.

Run a straight edge over it and see if there are any deformities in the surface. This is a lot easier than finding the right angle for a picture.

If the straight edge shows deformities then you have a technical imperfection. Odds in your favor. If the surface is flat to the straight edge then you have a visual imperfection. Odds in Tesla favor.

There are visual imperfections and there are technical imperfections. Tesla tends to lean toward the technical rather than the visual.

If Tesla replaces the panel you run the risk of something getting screwed up in the process. If you can't see this standing in front of it I would not risk some Tesla wrench jockey messing with it.

It might be just 2 spots that got buffed out on the line and can be fixed by rebuffing the entire panel.

Your probably going to WRAP it anyway. Problem solved.

You might want to try to see if they will. That does look kind of bad. I often catch a glare of my sail and think I see a bo in it but what ever. You’re does look worse though

Do you know how cars are transported?

https://www.cybertruckownersclub.com/forum/threads/wheres-my-truck.21868/page-2#post-407982

They are constantly being load and unloaded multiple times, driven up and down ramps with inches of clearance on each side. It easily could have rammed into something or something into it.
