This is good info. I have been running KO3s for a few thousand miles and I am just getting ready for three different road trips. Got a bolt through the tire the second day I owned the truck. Bought it used with 6k miles. Only tire the local place had in stock in my size was the KO3. Luckily that was the one I wanted. Took it as a sign and replaced all 4.
They do ride a little stiffer at 50PSI but the higher ply will do that. I absolutely love them so far but I have been running KO2s with my Raptor for 5 years now. I will air up to 65 and see if I notice much difference. I can tell you my efficiency is not great but that is a result of right foot enjoying the beast and not a function of the tire.
I run the aero covers with them and I love the look for what it’s worth.
I now have almost 14k miles on the KO3’s. Really impressed with how well they are wearing. The manager at the SC even asked me about them and couldn’t believe how many miles I had on them because they were wearing so well. I did air up to 65 psi and I have been running at that pressure since my last post. Works great. I would guess I will get at least 40k miles before I have to replace these. Only time will tell though.

So at 65, is the UI unhappy with you? Is the ride any less compliant?

Can’t wait to get KO3s on my CB! The DuraTracs are doing alright though. Best possible use of my credit!

The UI doesn’t mind. I haven’t had any warnings or notifications. The KO3 ride is stiffer than stock tires but I don’t notice a difference between the ride at 65 psi and when I ran them at 50 psi. I will definitely keep running these tires.

285 65 20 is OEM size. The BFG KO3 is available in this size.

275 65 20 is used for dedicated snow tires as it is the closest fit to OEM
