Get a wheel chock with an eyelet, attach nylon rope (15/25 feet should do). Set the chock on the ramp where your wheels would straddle it, back up to your stopping point while holding the rope with the window down, then pull the chock until it's under your driver side wheel. Should be able to see it out the window (door open is more risk, of course).

Give that a try ?
So, anything to avoid agreeing that a software fix would be nice, right? I mean, pretty easy fix, if I had access to the software. But whatever, I'll be just fine, without this dumb impractical idea.

Well no, of course there are use cases for forcing the car to hold with the brakes. I was just giving you a work-around until that feature makes it on the docket

Trying to understand the concern…..Are you saying that putting the truck in park after you have backed down the ramp, won’t sufficiently hold the truck in place?

I take deliver Thursday, may launch my boat Saturday with it.

I have launched boats for 30years and never used chocks.
