Broken Tabs?

So i just got my truck back from service. Had the cantrails replaced, precision camera cleaning, creaking of the front driver side door (which they just re-greased i guess); some lampcan engineering study done.
Looking in my cup holder, I noticed these broken plastic tabs, anyone have any idea where this is from? wondering if they broke something off and left it that way?

i noticed same but left on floor. Was interior trim pieces above driver and pass door tabs. I also found they broke my driver rear door trim piece that starts at top of window to rear door open button. They replaced once I showed them with new. but I didnt notice the rip on my driver door seal at floor where they stood to do the work. Make sure you inspect thoroughly

My guess: the tabs broke off of the cover when they put it back on after doing the front camera windshield cleaning….or they broke the tabs and replaced the cover with intact tabs but didn’t remove the broken tabs.
