Buzzing/clicking sound from cabin camera are after precision cleaning service

Does anyone else notice a similar sound? I didn't notice it before I had the precision cleaning done… its subtle but there, and seems to be roughly the same frequency that the IR lights are flashing. I tried two wheel reset. Will check if its still there tomorrow after software update… just got the truck back from over 20 days in service…

I hear nothing
There is a fan for the cameras. If something is brushing against that, you could get a noise.

I heard it with the volume on full blast. I'm inclined to say thats normal and you probably just didn't notice it. It sounds like the IR emitting - IR pulses

Its possible but i tend to be pretty sound sensitive. I was sitting in the truck in park no audio and no hvac, which i do a lot when i noticed it. Its not something ive heard before and i tracked it to there… its just strange that i only noticed it after that area was disturbed. Does your truck make the same sound?

I tend to notice things more after service does something too, but more so because I'm paying attention to that area to see if they messed anything up. It seemed too coincidental that its the same frequency as the light emission. I'll check mine tomorrow for you when I'm not in work and report back.

It’s definitely there. Still there after the software update. Maybe it’s the fan thats in there like you said? Idk hard to say. I don't want to take it apart and break clips as that sounds like it’s easy to do with these covers.

I will concede that it is a subtle sound. I had to get my head closer to the mirror to hear that it was coming from there. Its also possible that I've had enough issues with the truck that i may have been subconsciously paying more attention to the area knowing they worked on that area.. but now i notice it where i did not before. I agree its strange that its the same frequency as the IR lights.

My primary goal in posting was to see if others noticed the same to help qualify this as normal or abnormal.

Ok update- during the day time (when the IR lights are not on presumably) it is not there. Seems to be associated with the IR lights being active.

I’m not sure I’ve ever noticed a sound specifically coming from the cabin camera but I do keep my cabin camera covered up when not in use for FSD.

You may be hearing a DCDC converter running the LEDs (fundamental or harmonic). Modern version of tube TV transformer whine.

why? fsd wont work with the camera completely covered anyway
