I don’t understand why people want to overcomplicate things and expose their Starlink to damage and theft and wind resistance. Here’s my setup to the roof glass an plugged into the USB C in the back.

There might be racks and tents that sit over this area.

Or a powered sunshade or light.
But you can run it through the windshield like I do too.

Mine was on the roof glass like yours until I installed this electrochromic glass shade thing with the plaid light.
It is completely impenetrable to satellite signal.

I agree though, I don’t really understand why people so easily give up on the advantages of running it inside the cab. It’s climate controlled, waterproof, can’t be stolen, doesn’t affect the aerodynamics at all and possibly provides better WiFi signal inside the car (though that effect appears to be minimal) .
I suppose if you already have a roof rack this may not seem as crucial because you’re already taking the aerodynamic hit and the Starlink is at least somewhat protected by the rack itself.

I used to have a Urander Rack on top and could have still probably run the Mini in the interior configuration aimed between the slats on the roof but I would run it on the dash like you have it. When I finally got my Teslas Light Bar installed, I opted to remove the Rack and go back to a more streamlined cleaner configuration.
