I'm having issues where my starlink mini will reset randomly - it seems to be due to overheating from the summer sun. Anyone else running into this? How'd you solve it?

I'm using this mount: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DKJJK35W
Positioned just above the middle seat on the back glass roof

Is it by any chance losing power at those times or could it be doing firmware updates? We have ours mounted on the outside near the rear of the truck and even with summer temps between 90-105, we’ve never had an issue. Hopefully it’s something simple.

Are you using the standby plan?

Are you sure it's overheating? If it is, it will say so in the app.

When I saw the reset-randomly behavior, it was a power issue. I was powering it using a USBC cable to the truck; I tried two cables, but neither could run it in a stable manner. Ended up switching to a LinkPower 1 to provide stable power to the mini.
