Canada Non-FS Orders

Finalized my order earlier this week when Non-FS became available in Canada.

I had a VIN assigned within a couple of days however my advisor says there is no ETA currently available for delivery.

I’d guess that since a VIN has been attached to my order, the vehicle has most likely produced already and it should just be a case of waiting for transport to my local Tesla store and prep for delivery.

Curious to see what everybody elses experience has been with their non-FS orders - hopefully we don’t have to wait long for our Cybertrucks!

I'm a first day reservation holder: RN1128. However I had mistakenly made my rsvn on the US Tesla site. A few months ago after bringing up my issue with Tesla at their 4th Ave. showroom in Vancouver, they called me and were kind enough to change my rsvn to a Canadian rsvn (RN1217) and let me keep my place in line.

I received my invitation to order the Non-FS on 04FEB25. Received my VIN on 06 or 07FEB25, can't remember which day exactly. Haven't heard anything since, but I've been patient this long so I can wait a little longer.

Thanks. I also ordered the reveal night RN112787###. Also ordered Feb 4 but haven’t received vin yet. After 5 years I wish I could say I was waiting patiently. I’d kinda like the dam thing before the funeral. Lol

Also ordered my AWD on the 4th, no vin yet (in Ontario Canada)

I wonder if configuration also makes any difference, I ordered white interior with core wheels, no FSD

@tymiller - my order is an AWD with Core wheels also. Opposite end of the country to you though (Halifax).

I ordered right after Jason Cammisa’s review came out, so December 2023 I think - pretty late to the party.

Just had a sales rep call me last night and I asked a few questions (fwiw)

• Does configuration currently affect delivery time?
  • No
• If I were to place a new order today, would I be waiting longer than someone who placed an order back in 2019 at this point?
  • No
• The website says Available February, is that still the delivery timeline?
  • late February, early March is now the expectation

So if you have a referral code and want to apply it to your truck and don’t want FSD, seems like now would be the best time to do it. That would mean cancelling and reordering the truck as they can’t retroactively apply the referral (would be ~$900 off after the dust settles)

Interesting. So based on that verbal timeline you were given, one would think that those of us who finalized last week should be expecting to take delivery by the end of February - assuming our CTs are in transit currently.

FWIW, I had an automatic $1300 loyalty applied on mine due to already owning a Tesla. Wasn't expecting it, which was nice!

Hello guys! I am new here. I received an email to configure my order on February 4 then gave me a vin of 65XXX last February 6. Below is my CT configuration :

Cybertruck All-Wheel Drive
20" Core Wheels with 35" Tires
Tactical Grey Décor
Supercharger Network Access + Pay-as-you-go
Base Autopilot
Full Self-Driving (Supervised)

I initially planned to trade in my Honda pilot 2014 Touring with around 90k mileage. But, i was planning to cancel the trade in because I am sure they will offer me very low. They told me also that the delivery will be this month. Whether If it will be delayed to next month or not, are we going to be affected if Canada will retaliate and increase to 100% tariff?. Im from BC, Canada.

Ah that’s one other thing I asked about, I asked if the tariffs/political climate would affect the price.

the answer was “Tesla has traditionally honored the price as of order time before”

which isn’t a binding answer by any means but it was worth asking anyways

Isn’t it Tesle has nothing to do with Canada’s retaliation tariff ? Only us buyers will be affected ?And do you have any idea guys how much is the insurance of it here or in BC to be specific( ICBC)?

Online quote for foundation series AWD in Vaughan Ontario was $400/m

I’ve also seen some rates being astronomically high so I’d shop around

Not too bad. Hope it won’t go beyond $500. It will just offset my gas spending per month of my ice car less the maintenance. If the hold is for any issue of the CT then it will be better for us as a buyers. Hopefully, they will fix any existing issues before they resume deliveries. I will patiently wait. I Cancelled my trade-in. I will just keep our car.
