The rig, the gear and some of the results.
The last time this comet was seen by human eyes they were early Homo sapiens barely learning to use tools 80,000 years ago.
This time around we’ve mastered optics, electricity and all of the other things that allowed me to show up in this truck and grab these images. 80,000 years from now … ?
It’s important to note that the only light in any of my images of my truck is from the moon. All of these were taken well after sunset. These are not dramatically overexposed the moon is big, close, bright and casting shadows.
